Altered Beast Jap

"Altered Beast" is a side-scrolling action game developed by Sega. The player controls a resurrected centurion who must battle his way through various levels filled with undead monsters to rescue the goddess Athena. The game features a unique power-up system where the player can collect "Spirit Balls" to transform into different beasts with special abilities, such as a werewolf or dragon. The Japanese version of the game includes some differences in graphics and dialogue compared to the North American release.
