Castlevania II: Simon's Quest is an action-adventure platformer video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987. It is the second installment in the Castlevania series and features the protagonist Simon Belmont on a quest to gather Dracula's remains and defeat him once and for all. The game features non-linear gameplay, RPG elements such as experience points and a day/night cycle that affects gameplay, and multiple endings depending on player choices.
