Challenge of the Dragon, also known as "Saiyuuki World" in Japan, is a side-scrolling action game developed by Culture Brain for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1988. The game follows the story of the Chinese legend Journey to the West, where players control a monk called Sanzo who travels with three disciples - Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing - to retrieve sacred scriptures. The game features platforming elements, as well as boss battles against various monsters and demons from Chinese mythology.
