Formation Z is a side-scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Jaleco in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). In the game, players control a soldier who must fight his way through various levels filled with enemy soldiers, tanks, and other obstacles. The soldier has the ability to transform into a jet or a tank to better navigate the challenges of each level. The game features both horizontal and vertical scrolling levels, and bosses at the end of each stage.
