Jackal is a top-down run and gun video game developed by Konami in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The player controls a military jeep, known as the "Jackal", and must navigate through various levels, defeating enemy soldiers, tanks, and helicopters to rescue prisoners of war (POWs) and destroy enemy bases. The game features cooperative gameplay, allowing two players to control separate vehicles simultaneously.
