Otaku no Seiza - An Adventure in the Otaku Galaxy is a Japanese-exclusive video game released for the Nintendo Famicom (NES) in 1991. It is an action-adventure game that follows the story of two otaku (obsessive fans of anime and manga) who are transported to a far-off galaxy filled with parodies of popular anime and manga franchises. The game features side-scrolling platforming stages and boss battles, as well as mini-games and puzzles. Players control the two otaku as they explore the galaxy and try to find a way back home while encountering various characters and references to anime and manga culture.
